03. Access and site conditions

Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to areas required for inspection or agreed services and for advising us of known hazards, restricted areas, access limitations and relevant property conditions. We may postpone or decline work where conditions are unsafe or access is not reasonably available.

04. Leak detection and inspection services

Leak detection is a diagnostic service intended to identify the likely source, pathway or location of water ingress or another specified issue. Detection methods may include thermal imaging, moisture investigation, acoustic methods, dye or spray testing, tracer methods, CCTV drain inspection, borescope inspection or other appropriate techniques. No diagnostic method can guarantee identification of every leak in every property or condition.

05. Reports and findings

Reports are prepared based on observations, measurements, images and information available during the inspection. Reports may be provided for property owners, insurers, strata managers or other authorised parties. A report is not a guarantee that a building defect will not recur or that all concealed defects have been identified.

06. Repairs and third-party work

Unless expressly agreed in writing, leak detection or inspection services do not automatically include repair, replacement, restoration, building work or rectification by other trades. Recommendations may identify further investigation or repair that should be carried out by an appropriately qualified professional.

07. Emergency response

We may provide emergency response services across Greater Sydney. Any advertised response period is an indicative target rather than a guarantee, and may be affected by traffic, weather, workload, access, safety or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

08. Fees and payment

Fees, deposits and payment terms will be communicated before or during booking as applicable. Customers agree to pay amounts properly due for services provided. Additional work outside an agreed scope may incur additional charges where authorised or otherwise permitted by law.

09. Cancellation and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Any applicable cancellation, attendance or out-of-hours charges will be communicated to you and will comply with applicable law.

10. Customer information and property access

Customers should provide accurate information relevant to the inspection. Where images, documents or other information are supplied to us, you confirm that you have the right to provide them. We may use information supplied by customers for the purpose of providing the requested service, subject to our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, graphics, photographs, reports, layouts and other website materials are owned by or licensed to LeakDetectorSydney. You must not reproduce, republish, modify or commercially exploit them without permission, except where permitted by law.
